ballet "Coppelia", Messina
Three shows the last 30 April and 1 May 2 and held at the Teatro di Messina with the famous ballet "Coppelia" by Leo Delibes, under the direction of the young (and talented) Salvatore Percacciolo. The ballet-pantomime, based on a Hoffmann story, is set in a village in Galicia, Poland. L? Action revolves around Coppelia, the mechanical doll preferred by the mysterious clockmaker and toymaker Coppelius. The music continues to waltz motifs and themes of popular expertly organized and assembled by Delibes, which has created what is considered a masterpiece of its kind. big applause for the first dancers, Mathilde Froustey and Alessio Carbone and the whole cast.
