Turin, Teatro Carignano, "In the wake of the Risorgimento"

Yesterday at the beautiful Teatro Carignano, located in the heart of Turin, was held a concert called "In the wake of the Risorgimento " held to celebrate the 150 ° unification of Italy.
The concert, organized by educational section of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, is contained in a range of Italian events that will affect not only the city of Turin, Genoa, Naples and Rome. The concert was preceded by an introductory meeting held by the historian Prof. Lucio Villari, professor of contemporary history at the University of Roma Tre, and the musicologist John Bietti, who wisely pointed out how the unification of both Italy been done before by a musical point of view in politics. The evening saw the famous protagonist Marco Angioni Director (Founder of the algorithm) together with singers and instrumentalists belonging to the circuit of alumni and students of courses of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome. The Ensemble has performed in some real parts of the Overture and the most famous arias of Rossini and Verdi repertory, performed by talented soprano Rosa Feola, Anna Goryacheva mezzo-soprano, tenor David Giusti, Sergio Vitale baritone. Excellent audience participation.

Mandraffino flute and piccolo, and Ida Irene Gianolla Apollonius oboes, Alfredo Graziosi and Massimo Munari clarinets, bassoon Francescopaolo Balestrieri, Jorge Manuel Fuentes Arce horn, piano and keyboard Mentuccia Joseph, Julian Knight Carbone and Margaret violins, viola Carolina Paez Leon, Paolo Andriotto cello, bass Emiliano Amadori.
