Yesterday, January 20, 2011, in Rosolini, small town of Syracuse, organized by ' Auditorium Music Association - Academy of Music , it was a concert by the cellist Paul Andriotto.
The first part of the concert was devoted to classic songs of the cello repertoire, beginning with the Suite for cello solo of the English composer Gaspar Cassadò, and continuing with the song "Alone" the great cellist and composer Giovanni Sollima Sicilian. In the second part you chose a program to capture the effect of diverse public in the audience: first, the musical fable "Clare and Charles" (written by the same Andriotto), beautifully interpreted by the narrator Enza Serrentino, a work written with the intent of the listener to experience a full range of tonal and expressive possibilities of the cello. The evening's program ended with the wonderful duo for Cello and Double Bass by Gioacchino Rossini duet with Jose Blanco, the first bass del'Orchestra del Teatro Vittorio Emanuele di Messina. Warm applause and a different finish.
